Scott Polhemus

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Polhemus was employed by General Electric Energy as the Global Manager of the group of contract risk managers responsible for the negotiation of Contractual Service Agreements (“CSAs”), Long-Term Parts and/or Services Agreements (“LTPAs/LTSAs”), Operation and Maintenance Agreements (“O&Ms”), and ancillary agreements thereto, for all of GE’s gas turbines, steam turbines and balance of plant equipment worldwide. He has personally provided consulting and negotiating services on such agreements spanning six continents and representing over $8 Billion in contractual commitments. He has negotiated agreements for power generators on General Electric, Siemens, Westinghouse and Mitsubishi technologies with OEMs and third-party service providers alike. Additionally, Mr. Polhemus’ negotiations experience extends to a myriad of transactional corporate matters, including but not limited to, mergers and acquisitions, asset purchase and sale agreements, joint ventures agreements and a multitude of corporate formation and operating agreements.
Mr. Polhemus graduated from Colgate University with a B.A. in Liberal Arts in 1985, and received his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Toledo School of Law in 1992, where he was a member of the Toledo Law Review.
Chris Haaland

Prior to founding LTSA Options, Mr. Haaland was a Director at Nalco Company after his company, DMS, was purchased in 2008. At DMS-Nalco he was the lead consultant of the gas turbine modeling group working with OEMs, 3rd party providers and owners for the modeling of parts flow and maintenance scheduling. In addition. He has assisted owners in the reviewing current agreements, developing financial projections, and the subsequent negotiations for GE, Siemens, Alstom, and Mitsubishi technologies. Previously, he has worked as a Marine Engineer and Repair Manager for Exxon Marine.
Mr. Haaland graduated from the US Merchant Marine Academy (Kings Point) with a B.S. with honors in Marine Engineering in 1977 and received his MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College in 1982.
